Functional Behavior Institute (FBI) was founded in 2021 by James Church, BCBA. He recognized the value and importance of early diagnosis and intervention for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and the impact it has on long-term development. James wanted to start a clinical practice that specifically focused on children between the age of one to five due to the high magnitude impact on successful later life outcomes.
James Church has been working the field of ABA since 2010 and has experience in all levels of treatment planning and service delivery as he has worked in each of the the roles of interventionist, Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst, and Board Certified Behavior Analyst. James received his Master's of Education (Applied Behavior Analysis) at Arizona State Univeristy in 2015 and has remained dedicated to the field within the ASD community. James hand-picks each RBT on staff to ensure they are appropriately equipped with a substantial knowledge of the science of human behavior, love of both teaching and learning, and a friendly and professional approach to services.
