Every Child Has Their Own Program
No two children are the same, which is why no two therapy programs at FBI are either.
Before your child's first session, our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) conducts a thorough assessment to understand your child's current strengths, communication skills, and areas where they could benefit from support. From there, we build a therapy plan designed specifically around your child — their personality, their learning style, and the goals that matter most to your family.
That plan is never set in stone. As your child grows and makes progress, their program evolves with them.
Center-Based ABA Therapy
Our clinic-based program provides a structured and engaging learning environment designed specifically for young learners.
In the clinic, children work one-on-one with therapists while also having opportunities to build social and play skills with peers. The structured setting allows our team to focus on skill development through guided activities, interactive play, and individualized teaching strategies.
Many families choose clinic-based therapy because it offers:
- A structured learning environment
- Consistent routines that support learning
- Opportunities for peer interaction
- One-on-one support from trained therapists
Our goal is to help children build communication, independence, and social skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
In-Home ABA Therapy
For some children, learning within the home environment is the best fit.
In-home ABA therapy allows therapists to work directly within the child’s natural routines and familiar surroundings. This approach can be especially helpful when teaching daily living skills and helping children apply new skills during real-life activities.
In-home therapy may focus on:
- Communication within family routines
- Mealtime and daily routines
- Play and interaction with siblings
- Self-help and independence skills
Our team works closely with parents to help integrate learning into everyday life.
Early Intervention Programs
Functional Behavior Institute specializes in early intervention for children ages 1–8.
Early childhood is one of the most important periods for learning and development. During these early years, children can develop foundational communication, learning, and social skills that support long-term success.
By focusing on early intervention, our team helps children build the skills needed to grow with confidence and independence.
What Your Child's Day Actually Looks Like
One of the most common questions parents have is simple: what will my child actually be doing during therapy?
At FBI, your child will always be working one-on-one with one of our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) — our FBI Agents. Every child has a dedicated therapist by their side throughout their entire session, ensuring consistent support and a strong personal relationship.
Within that structure, what therapy looks like varies from child to child. Some children spend more time in focused, structured learning activities that target specific skills. Others move through a mix of guided play, communication practice, and peer interaction. Many sessions include both.
When children are ready, they also have the opportunity to practice social and play skills alongside peers in a group setting — building the kind of real-world interaction skills that are hard to teach one-on-one.
The environment is intentionally engaging and encouraging. Learning at FBI doesn't feel like drills. It feels like a place your child actually wants to be.

We currently accept Medicaid, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, TriCare, SilverSummit Healthplan, and Molina Healthcare.
